This idea was brought up at a recent church meeting, as we discussed what we would take with us should we have to leave our homes, and have only an old-fashioned hand cart to carry what we needed. I mentioned that you could make soap from ash, so you wouldn't need to bring any...well here is the proof!

I am sure there are many other methods, and one could always add essential oils for scent, or if you happen to push your handcart past some herbs...you could through some in!
So here is to being nice and clean, and not necessarily having to take up space in your handcart for soap!
